Yaël Korse (January 14, 2000) is an actor, writer, and theater maker. Born and raised in the Netherlands. She was born with hearing loss, which gave her a keen eye for observing the world around her.
Her graduation performance Liever Gek, a combination of movement and text without set or sound, was selected for several festivals in the Netherlands. Afterwards, she created performances for the Jonge Harten festival and was in residence at Zwolse Theaters, where she created Ik ben oké. In this piece too, she combined movement and text and taught the audience how to talk about sexual harassment. Yaël draws situations from her own life and the lives of others to actively involve the audience.
In addition, she toured the country with a performance for children and collaborated with directors such as Ko van den Bosch and Kersti Jan Werdal. Because she wanted to specialize in movement, she studied at Jacques Lecoq in France from 2023 to 2025.
So she also speaks Dutch, English, and French.
